Events at MoA Mizzou

The Museum of Anthropology is located on the lower level of Ellis Library, 1020 Lowry St., with an accessible entrance located on Hitt Street. The MoA has various events throughout the year including lectures, workshops for children, and collaborative events. All events are free and open to the public.

REGISTRATION CLOSED: Upcoming Children's Workshop: Purposeful Potions

Our upcoming children's workshop is October 9th, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm in Room 3 at the Museum of Anthropology (1020 Lowry St., Columbia, MO). This fun, free workshop is for children 8 years and older. October's theme looks at the use of native plants in Missouri archaeology. Learn the tools and methods traditionally used to turn plants into good brews, stews, medicines, and shoes!  There will also be a fun activity to create your own “brew” to take home. REGISTRATION: Registration is required and opens 2 weeks prior to the workshop. Registration opens September 25th.
