"I've Seen and Experienced Enough"

Letter No. 100

Toul, France,
25 Nov. 1918

. . .
We are soon to be given thru options as to our relations with the Army and I am going to name the one which states that I want an immediate discharge from the service. I've seen and experienced enough now and I am good and ready to go home. I can frankly say that up until now I have been glad to have seen and been thru it all and I wouldn't have a bit of it changed from what it has been and what I have chosen, but I've gotten my fill now and I want to go home you can bet and the quicker the better will suit me.
