After School Kids' Workshop: "Columbia" in 1818
Join us for our November After School Workshop! We will be learning about the founding of Smithton, the settlement that eventually "moved down the hill" and became Columbia in 1821. Who lived here when the settlers arrived? What were their lives like? Why did they move the settlement in 1821? We will be looking at some historic objects from central Missouri and doing a hands-on craft activity.
Pre-registration is required.
Ages 6-12. Registration begins October 29th. Limit 15 participants.
