This workshop is intended for kids in middle school or older. We will use math and measuring.

WHEN: Thursday, October 15, 2020       3:30 pm CST  (Rain date: TBD)

HOW: While there is no limit on the number of attendees, you MUST preregister.  The Zoom link will only be sent to registered participants.

MATERIALS NEEDED:  You will need to gather materials for the workshop. This workshop is intended to be outside.

  • IMPORTANT: Permission from parent or guardian to dig a half meter square somewhere in your yard and a safe spot to set your device to follow along via Zoom
  • Measuring tape with metric system
  • Grid paper and pencils
  • 4 tent stakes or sturdy sticks
  • String
  • Paint brush that can get dirty
  • Other things you might want to add: moss, beads, small plastic critters
  • BE CREATIVE!
