Museum Information
The Museum of Anthropology exhibit hall is located in Swallow Hall on historic Francis Quadrangle on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus. The permanent exhibition gallery focuses on Native American cultures from across North America, and Missouri history from 11,200 years ago to the present. Murals by Columbia artist Robert Casati evoke the setting for each region.
Tours
Both the Museum exhibit hall and the exhibits at the Museum Support Center, the Museum's research center, are free and open to the public. Tours of Museum exhibits are available by appointment. Groups should not be more than 30 people, and children should have adequate adult supervision. Call 573-882-3573 for information and scheduling.
