Oceania - Ethnographic CollectionThe ethnographic collection includes a small sampling of materials representing Oceanic cultures. Included are Australian Aborigine clubs, spears, boomerangs, and other hunting equipment and weaponry; decorated Maori clubs; stone implements from Guam; carved wooden figures and instruments from New Guinea; and a collection of several dozen tapa cloths and woven palm-fiber items from Samoa.
